Team Leaders


William Diebold

10th grade team leader, served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam as a combat photographer, and graduated cum Laude from The Art Center College of Design in 1974. Worked 25 years as an Advertising Photographer in Chicago and Dallas, before earning his teaching credential at CSUN. Mr. Diebold guides the youngest members of our Academy to take responsibility for their own success, and to start off their high school career on the right foot.


Wesley De Gracia

12th grade team leader, social studies teacher, Art Club sponsor, is a graduate of UCLA with a BA in History, and earned his teaching credential at CSUN. Joining AOAT when he came to Cleveland, Mr. De Gracia is a tireless sponsor for all the Art Club activities, and teaches the majority of our students in both 10th and 12th grade. He also is our chief BBQ chef for parties, and supplies Rock Band for all events.


Laura Neustaedter

11th grade team leader, social studies teacher, scholarships coordinator, graduated with a BA in History from San Diego State University and went on to pursue a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as a Single Subject Teaching Credential in the field of Social Science. Her years as an elementary teacher before joining AOAT give her wide knowledge that informs her interdisciplinary projects. Her experience as a union chapter chair and as a Master Teacher developed her leadership skills which she brings to the challenging 11th grade team.
